The Seed & Saffron story
Seed & Saffron is an ever-growing collection, experiment and celebration of what we love. We aspire towards the infinite potential and nourishment of a seed, and the delicate, exotic beauty and flavor of saffron.
Our first creations were all healthy, nutrient dense, and could qualify as a meal! But as it turns out, we have evolved to create what our customers want, which include the healthy, special goodies, plus a lot of celebratory, beautiful, party treats.
Our customers buy bulk bliss balls, birthday and wedding cakes, party bites, fancy cookies, scones and seedy bread. Many of our items store very well in the freezer, and others can be specially crafted to meet your unique needs and desires.
Most special requests are welcome as a challenge and opportunity to grow the craft. We do our best to accommodate these requests, while staying true to our values of purity, beauty and divine flavor!
What we offer?
This is an ever-evolving inquiry. We initially set out to make sweets and treats for those with specific dietary preferences like vegan, gluten free, paleo and keto at the local health food store. Most people like a little something sweet, and these creations felt true to our roots. As opportunities arose in the community, we welcomed learning more traditional baking and fanciful treats for celebratory occasions. That being said, we always err on the side of pure, non-GMO ingredients, local, fresh and organic, with the option to adapt to dietary preferences.
The vision is to make products that are as enjoyable to create as they are to serve and savor. We celebrate diversity, purity and nutrient density in our ingredients, while creating products that are beautiful, delightful and unique.

The creation process…
When creating a snack or dessert, there are several boxes we like to check. It needs to be delicious, nourishing and beautiful. It should be functional (not fall apart), assimilable (easy to digest), and fresh (no rancid nuts). It will ideally contain superfoods (we need them!) and have some local ingredients (high vitality, low carbon footprint). Most of our creations keep these things in mind.
From birthday cakes to vegan cheesecakes, breakfast bars to bliss balls, tonic chocolates to fancy fudge - Seed & Saffron is an invitation to transform and embrace our relationship with sweets!
